Itinerary
Day 1
Hanoi - Babe lake (-/L/D)
Departure for Thai Nguyen, visit the
Museum of Ethnology then onto Babe national park. Drive through the
rain forest to reach the lake side and boat trip to village of Tay
hill tribe people. Dinner and home stay.
Day 2
Babe lake boat trip - Cao Bang
( B/L/D)
3 hr boat trip to visit Babe lake, Puong
Cave - where thousands of bats, visit fairy ponds. Jeep picks up
then drive to Cao Bang. Overnight in Cao Bang.
Day 3
cao bang - ban gioc waterfall - cao bang
( B/L/D)
Jeep ride to Ban Gioc, the most
wonderful waterfall in Vietnam. where a border river broken and
fallen down. Overnight in hotel in Cao Bang.
Day 4
Cao Bang - Lang Son
( B/L/D)
Jeep along the highway No 4. along the
border with China. Highway No 4 famed with alot of battles during
French war with historic area such as Dong Khe, That Khe....
Overnight in guesthouse.
Day 5 Lang Son - Hanoi
( B/L/-)
Road trip back to Hanoi.

Fitness
Requirements: You should be moderately fit and have some
experience riding bicycles longer distances.
Weather:
The weather in Vietnam is usually warm and humid. From
June to September July and August, it is rain and hot (25-30oC) ,
humid conditions with afternoon monsoon rains During the
months of November to March the weather will tend to be drier but
with colder temperatures (25-30oC). In
the hills, mornings and evenings may be cool. Rain is always a
possibility. You need to be prepared for several types of
conditions. Humidity can also play a role, and it's important
to stay hydrated and use sun protection.
